Re: Possible bowel cancer
Hi there, bowel cancer can cause anything from no symptoms to lots of symptoms so if you have any worries then you should get checked out.
Can I ask you to tell me why you think you might have it?
The important things to look out for are:
change in bowel habit
blood
weight loss
pain
However, early bowel cancer may not cause any of these symptoms, so it is important to be very bowel aware.

Re: Possible bowel cancer
I just wanted to let you know that I was thought to have IBS and after a while things just didn't feel right so I didn't wait, I went to my Doctor and I am glad I did because I had a small mass in my bowel and surgery was arranged quickly to remove it. I was worried but now I realise that it is better to go get things checked out as soon as possible, don't wait. I was lucky because there was no sign of cancer and I was only in hospital for a short time. I am very grateful for the quick action of my Doctor and the surgeon and nursing staff.
