have you any other bladder or bowel symptoms? Pain, constipation, diarrhoea?? is the bloating feeling always there or is it different at times of day / month? bloating can be exacerbated by dietry intake, but please let us know more detail so we can advise you appropriately

I think Sharon we need a little more information. Your intestines require lots of what we call beneficial bacteria which "exercise the colon" and aide movement through the digestive tract. The bacterial balance can be disrupted by prescription drugs, particularly antibiotics.
I suggest you eat some raw food, I know this sounds counter-intuitive, but the cellulose in raw foods will stimulate the colon.

What has changed to make you bloated. Bloating is often due to a combination of something that is causing emotional tension and a change in diet that contains a lot of gas producing foods. You may find that a diet low in gas producing foods (low FODMAP diet) might help (see http://www.theibsnetwork.org/the-self-c ... t/fodmaps/) but its likely that you are under some stress and may need help with this.

It is probably a good idea to discuss this with your doctor before you make any changes as they may wish to do some testing - if you have already been to your GP please post some more information about this then we can provide more advice.
