nothing will keep my eczema at bay!!

I'm 20 years old and have suffered with eczema my hole life. It constantly flares up to the point where I don't want to go to work because of the stares by punters. Who would want there food or beer served by someone who's hands and arms are red and flaky, I have been going to my doctors for years and now I've given up I keep getting prescribed same creams even though I say they have no effect, I have tried everything from sudicream to eperderm to aveeno to aqeruoues, to steroid creams hydrocortisone, fucibet to betnovate even antibiotics but nothing helps. I have tried Epsom salt, Chinese creams, oliatment.
I have even tried wet bandages, sleeping with gloves on to stop me itching but still no luck I just end up pulling the bandages up or scratching through them till there bloody in my sleep.

At the moment its not as bad as it has been but its getting worse each day especially on my face and arms and hands.

Can anyone just recomend anything that will help :-(

Colemarie,

Sounds like you are having a tough time with your eczema at the moment. I agree with Mei, have you asked your GP for further (or any tests) to be carried out? Perhaps keep a diary of things you eat during the day to see if you can get any idea of any diet related triggers.

Do get back to your GP however to seek out more advice and potentially a referral to a specialist.

In the meantime have you explored our site? I have included direct links to information on eczema and also a link to our blogs where you may find some advice.
