yes it could be serious or most likely just Piles
either way you need to see the GP and get a rapid access referral to a general surgeon for assessment

Passing blood from the bowels should never be ignored. A surgeon or physician specialising in telescope tests of the bowel will be able to have a quick look inside and see what the problem is. Have a chat with your GP and get this organised. Dr Webberley
