itchy scar

Hello,
i am 69 fit and still fairly active.
About 10 years ago I had a circumcision. no problems at all but for a while now the circumcision scar gets a little itchy from time to time, The skin has healed perfectly and nothing wrong with penis. Not an unpleasant feeling but a bit embarrasing at times to want to elleviate the problem.
Is there any cream or oil I could use to ease the itchyness?

Hi there, sometimes scars can catch a nerve while they are healing and this can cause irritation. Steroid creams such as hydrocortisone 1% can be very useful, and worth a try. There is a cream that women use for itchiness called Vagisil which also may help.
Just make sure that a doctor has looked at the scar to make sure everything is OK.

Yes, I would agree - steroid cream is usually the best option for this.
