Is it Rosacea or something elae

Hello.

I’ve been having flare ups on my face on and of for 4-5 years now. I get red face across the nose and cheeks and on the chin and forehead. It gets really dry then it starts to flake. I’ve had several creams from the doctor and some of them work but it has never fully gong away. It clears up then about a month or 2 it’s back. I was finally referred to see a dermatologist and they have said I’ve got rosacea. So they gave me a cream and antibiotics but this has not cleared it up. As time goes on it’s getting worse and worse and I find highly embarrassing. I left work today I couldn’t bare people seeing me. It’s taken a huge confidence knock out of me.

I don’t think it’s rosacea I’ve googled for ages to find pictures like my face but haven’t seen one that looks the same. I’ve attached to photos of my face and I would like to know what other people’s opinions are of my face. I’ll be grateful for any advice or help.

We would also suggest returning to your GP and pressing for further treatment/advice. You could also try your local pharmacist who may be able to prescribe something for you.
