Joint pain can be difficult to obtain at times. I personally feel that joint paints can affect the mobility of the body. The best way to drive this is to practice some effective steps such as practicing physical therapy, using hot/cold therapy, and eating up the right foods that help to ease out joint pain. You can use pain meds to reduce joint pain.

Body pain can occur at times and this can affect the person's health both physically and mentally. The only way to get relief from body pain is to practice physiotherapy, and take proper pain meds to reduce joint pain. From my personal experience, I found this health site more effective to provide health tips and proper medication that helped me relieve joint pain.

Funnily enough, I get joint pain in my right knee. I am 40 years old, so aren't young, but do feel gentle movement and resting my legs help the pain. I would take painkillers, except I don't want to be dosed up on medication.

I walk daily and also use a step-up to keep my knee joint supple. Tai Chi also helps. I don't overdo the exercises, however: this would just worsen the pain.

Good advice, emilyburger and I am sure many will take it.

I definitely agree that physiotherapy and exercise relieve joint pain, however, I do not think it is the way. There are many methods that, along with the thing above, relieve the pain very efficiently. Of course, physical activity is the main thing, but not the only one.

What other treatments would you recommend, lindaket?

Joint pains are very much underrated. It is really difficult to deal with. When I was suffering from joint pains before I was diagnosed with RA, I used to follow herbal remedies and herbal diet I found, and honestly, it is my very important part of life. Going all-natural helped me cope, up with many health issues.

You've made a valuable point, sydneywaters: natural remedies do have their value. Whether or not they're a solution I don't know BUT I do know they are worth a shot. I don't have joint pain myself, but have tried herbal remedies in the past for other health issues. I'd still recommend talking to your doctor - obviously - BUT I don't see harm in trying natural remedies.

Nutrients D and K are both significant for bone strength, and vitamin K is associated with ligament structure. Enhancing these two supplements might be useful assuming that you're lacking in them.

Supplements can help the body lubricate the joints, therefore reducing joint pain. BUT I am not a doctor, so I would double check this advice.

Still, capsules are sold in chemists catered for joint pain. I certainly see no harm in trying these out. Used sensibly they aren't harmful to the body and have been developed by major pharmaceutical companies. If they have designed a supplement, then it must have value.
