Help with unpleasant tingling in arms and hands
Hi guys, I have a problem and maybe someone can help me here.
The problem has been going on for more than half a year now, so I'll just try to mention the points that are relevant to me.
Since October 2023, I've been experiencing a strange feeling in my hands and arms, especially when I've been playing on the PC for a long time or, when I've been lifting weights. Back then, I often played on the PC for 6-8 hours a day and every now and then I had a strange feeling in both hands at the end of the session. This was particularly noticeable when I tried to lift a water bottle or something similar. In this case, my whole hand tingled very unpleasantly.
The amount of time I played decreased, but I still ended up with this feeling in my hands and arms.
Since October 2023, I have been to various doctors: Neurologists (CTS), rheumatologists, hand surgeons, orthopaedists. But I never got clear answers to my questions. The CTS test was negative, but one of my orthopaedists diagnosed me with osteoarthritis of the wrist and thumb saddle joint in my hand. When I showed that to other doctors (such as various hand surgeons) they all said that it was very unlikely as I was only very young (20 at that moment, now 21).
That's how it all started, my current problems are as follows: unpleasant tingling in my arms and hands when carrying a bag, for example, after less than an hour, tingling in my arms and hands in general in everyday life, e.g. when I support myself with my arms or push myself up. I also played paintball for 4 hours once, but I had to stop after about 1 hour because I felt the sensation again.
I would like to know where this unpleasant tingling sensation comes from, as I have already turned all my hobbies upside down because of it. It can also be described as unpleasant electric shocks or constant light ant tingling.
Thank you for reading through everything. I hope someone has ideas on what my next step might be.
Best regards - Peeppeep

Sitting or remaining similarly situated for quite a while. Harming a nerve (a neck injury might make you feel deadness anyplace along your arm or hand, while a low back physical issue can cause deadness or shivering along your leg or foot)

Re: Help with unpleasant tingling in arms and hands
I often get tingling in my feet and hands. At night, my feet get electric shocks and it's very uncomfortable. I get tingling in my hands when holding a knife and fork. Both are unpleasant, but they pass. Still, it is as it is.
