Scalp problems

Hello everyone, I am generally going off my head with a itchy scalp. I had to shave my hair off the other day due to itchiness I do not have a dry or flaky scalp. But I have notest I have redness on my scalp, and sometimes get pimples with puss at random places on my scalp. The itch is that bad I have scratch my hair away and I do not think it will regrow. I have been suffering with this for two years now.

I'm 30 years old and just though it was the start of losing my hair, researched male Patter baldness, and some people gave said they did get a itchy but it went away. This is not going away, it's driving me up the wall. I have uploaded a picture, dose anyone know what this is? Any help would be a help. Thank you sean

Re: Scalp problems

Hello Sean

Please do look at the advice we offer on our mens health hub http://www.talkhealthpartnership.com/ta ... r_loss.php and also have a look at a recent ask the expert session we ran to see if there is any questions and answers that are similar to the issues you are experiencing. We certainly suggest you contact a GP and if they are unable to help you directly ask to be referred on to a consultant. If you decide to go out of the NHS for medical advice we strongly suggest you check the credentials on the person you are seeking advice from. We also suggest that you look at our recent Ask the Expert on Hair Loss which hopefully will provide you with further helpful information.
