Treatment choices

My dad in December was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer.
It was very new and not high risk so doctors said to come back in x amount of time and look at it again and look at treatments. We all know they have the usual radiotherapy chemotherapy and so on and know the true outcomes of them.
So my dad got in to action, cut out all bad food, cut out all foods with sugar as cancer eats glucose and sugars out of the fat. He's healthy and trying his best to stay that way. Treatments he's seen are available but you have to ask for them, so he's looked in to numerous ones and all we get is bs reasons. Its not acceptable. You pay in to the NHS and you should be able to get the treatments. The latest place we found was London and once again turned away. I think its a disgrace, dont you think you should get the choice of where you are treated and what treatment you get. ?
