How to help my mother?

My mother is suffering from osteoarthritis for a very long time.
Now she is having severe knee pain for the past couple of months. Tried many medications but none of them resolved her problems. Now she can't even walk or do stairs.

One of my colleagues suggested undergoing physiotherapy treatment, she had undergone the procedure and is fine now.

So we are thinking about giving it a shot. I already found reputed pelvic floor physiotherapy in Toronto. However, I would like to hear from you guys before making a final decision.
