Can anyone tell me what's wrong?

I had a recent tooth extraction so I am salt rinsing a lot and I also have a problem with phlegm so am always coughing it up. Do you re kon the salt is just drying my throat and making it easy to bleed when I constantly bring up pleghm or what? Please help ASAP.

I had a tooth out yesterday and was told, to to spit out for a while as the area needs to heal and spitting encourages it to bleed.

Bleeding throat can come from cuts on the the passage in the neck. I do not think salt can do this, i think what you eat can. This is my opinion, i could be wrong.
