Having cataract surgery

Hey,
I'm writing this post to get help for my mother in law. She was diagnosed with cataracts in both eyes, and it has progressed to the point that it's time for surgery. So she is having her first cataract surgery in three weeks, and the second in the next three weeks. Our doctor said that surgery usually takes only a few minutes to perform and as they were following advanced verion cataract surgery it doesn't require any stitches. So we are happy that we are providing the best treatment for her. But we have some doubt regarding how to deal with the intermittent three weeks. Will she able to drive in between surgeries? The doctor said she will need reading glasses after the surgery. Will it be fine to drive with glasses, and with one corrected eye? Your thoughts are greatly appreciated. Moreover, we are super anxious about the surgery, so if you have any warnings, please be gentle.
