National Infertility Awareness Week
National Infertility Awareness Week (NIAW) is a week-long event that takes place annually in April. The purpose of NIAW is to raise awareness about infertility, remove stigmas, and promote access to reproductive health resources. Infertility affects approximately 1 in 8 couples, and NIAW provides a platform for those affected to share their stories and raise awareness about the emotional, physical, and financial challenges associated with infertility. The week includes various events and activities, including online campaigns, support group meetings, and educational seminars. National Infertility Awareness Week serves as an important reminder of the need for greater understanding and support for those affected by infertility and the importance of access to comprehensive reproductive health care.
