Help with my face wound/fistula

Dear Forum members

I am 80 years old. I have squamous cell ca of the llower oartvof my face. There is a fistula/tract that extends from the cancerous growth on the outside to my mouth cavity.

This tract makes me unable to eat or drink. As the liquids leak through the tract outside. Nor can i creat negative pressure inside my mouth to suck on a straw to drink water ot liquids.

Here is a picture of my condition

Any suggestions on how to close this tract?

Hi,

Sorry to hear about this. Unfortunately talkhealth can not offer any medical advice and this would be an issue that needs to be dealt with by your medical health professional.

We would encourage you to arrange an appointment to discuss this with them ASAP and wish you well in getting some professional advice.

Regards
