Folliculitis Scars

Hello all

After many years of misdiagnosed acne, I have been finally diagnosed with Folliculitis by my GP ( although i am awaiting a Dermatology appointment to confirm this) .. I have been left with a lot of scarring all over my body, face and head... has anyone one here had the same condition and if so what have you found the best way to repair the scarred skin.
I would welcome any replies, thank you x
