Hi,
I think you should discuss with your pediatrician about the bedwetting, so she can track your child's progress and offer suggestions for handling the situation.
Thanks.

Re: 13 year old daughter bed wets

Bed wetting (Nocturnal Enuresis) often runs in families, normally it will clear up on its own around the ages of 18-21, although relapses can occur because of stress or anxiety. See your doctor about this as there could be a medical problem (weak or small bladder), or she may be a heavy sleeper. I'm sure you use either a disposable or washable absorbent bed pad and mattress protector. Have you thought about things like bed alarms or even something as simple as 2 or 4 hourly toileting during the night they may help until you can get your daughter into her doctor.

It can be normal for a child to wet the bed. I wet the bed once at, i think it was 16. I didnt feel like going to the toilet. Before weeing there is a strong urge, and if we choose to ignore it, we will wet the bed. Your daughters should work on exercising the pelvis. I heard this exercise can help women control the urge to pee and hold it. Speak to the GP.
