Frequent Urination male

Hi guys , I’m just wondering if anyone has ever had any similar issues regarding needing to pee at abnormally high volumes of times . I drink 1L of water per day MAX but at night I get an urge to go to the bath room about 10 mins after going. I’ve done all the STI / UTI / infection tests but so far they have care up negative.

I brang it up to the doctor about only happening at night but she said that this was normal because my mind is elsewhere during the day with work etc and I’m more focused on the issue when trying to sleep .

When I get to the bathroom it takes 8-10 seconds to actually come out and even at that only a dribble comes out , definitely not enough to match the urge I get anyway. . Even when drinking large volumes of liquids over a short period of time (alcohol) I’m needed to pee every 5 minutes and it’s ruining my nights out.

I’m a 22 year old male and this is having a big impact on my lifestyle because I can’t sleep until late into the early hours and therefore waking up tired . I’ve done a UT scan of my urinary system and I’m awaiting the results from the doctor .

Does anyone have any suggestions as I feel that this could be a deep underlying issue as it is simply not going away .. thanks

Hi rossc122,

Sorry to hear about your incontinence problem.

Though we can not give out specific medical advice there are lots of relevant articles here on our bladder pages that may be of use to you. Check out our articles here; http://www.talkhealthpartnership.com/ta ... ticles.php

We suggest that it may be worth discussing (again) where you go next once you get the results back from your scan with the GP, hope you get some answers soon but do let us know how you get on,

Regards,

Re: Frequent Urination male

My suggestion is drink less and avoid consuming lots of alcohol.
