Newly Diagnosed

Hello everyone. I thought I would join the forum and post a little about me.
I am 46, perfectly healthy guy, who has just recently been diagnosed with Benign Prostate enlargement. The only reason I knew there was something wrong was my increasing lack of urinary continence.
I went to see the Dr who tested for prostate cancer (ruled out). I have now been referred to the Urology dept. This morning I have just returned from seeing the continence nurse to try and find ways of managing my incontinence. One option is to start Intermittent Self Catheterisation (ISC). Does anyone have any experience of this?

If anyone has any pointers they can pass on, that would be very much appreciated.

Thank you
