uncontrollable bowel movements

I have uncontrollable bowel movements, not always, just sometimes but it can be extremely embarrassing. It does not seem to be related to my diet, an so they seem unpredictable. My GP in Brandon just recommends over the counter medication but it makes me feel bloated and also I do not know when the next incident may happen. What can I do?

Re: uncontrollable bowel movements

Dear Zulfia62,

I am sorry to hear of your problem. In order for me to help you further, please could you give me a little more information?

1. What exactly do you mean when you say uncontrollable bowel movements?

2. How often does this occur?

3. Do you have any other symptoms such as weight loss, blood in the stool, abdominal pain...?

4. What medication have you tried for this? What has your GP recommended?

I look forward to hearing from you,

Justine
