hamstring attachment with ischeal tuberosity

I am a runner and have had a repair to the hamstring tendon where it meets with the ischeal tuberosity. since the op 3 years ago i am left with severe pain,a constant nervey /throbbing that means i cannot sit down comfortably and have to drive sat on a cricket ball. i have spent thosands on physios/treatments and tried pain killers like ibuprofen even pregablin but nothing works. It is similar to sciatica symptoms? any advice?

Re: hamstring attachment with ischeal tuberosity

It is difficult to comment without examination, and it is not clear if the situation has been reviewed by the surgeon who performed the repair 3 years ago. One possibility would be ischial bursitis, which often responds to corticosteroid injection, but it would be surprising if this diagnosis and treatment had not been considered in the past 3 years.
