Do you believe children can grow out of psoriasis?

Re: 6 year old

I think it depends on a number of factors, including the type of psoriasis. However, growing out of it is much less common, and is probably the exception, than compared to say eczema.

Guttate psoriasis can sometimes be a one off, triggered by infection.

In general, psoriasis is a chronic condition and the tendency towards it will persist.

The really positive thing, though, is that we have so many new treatment options for psoriasis now, so in the vast majority of patients it can be very well controlled.

great response. The other positive is that psoriasis can pass into remission for significant periods of time for no obvious reason.
