Red cheeks , please help me

Hi I'm desperate and looking for help . I'm 27 years old , since the age of around 13 I have been burdened with horrible red cheeks ! They remain red and rosey through the day but later on in afternoonas and evenings my face actually feels like it's on fire , my cheeks glow bright red with a pretty much perfect ring were the redness ends and just goes back to normal skin color ! This only affects my cheeks , no we're else ! I'm drained and self conscious of this as I have been for years , I have seeked help from my go many many times , trying different diets and creams , I even begged and begged to be out forwArds for ETS surgery , to try and help with the red cheeks , I hate them and I hate my face , when I can feel myself burning up I will avoid looking at my face in mirrors and I will avoid leaving home unless I have to , I don't socialise because this is getting me so down and depressed in myself , the ETS surgery when ok , however I had no major changes at all in fact it's been a year and I would say the cheeks have stayed the same and burn up just as hot as before the surgery I'm now left with really dry hands and excessive sweating of my mid section , I'm desperately trying g so hard for a cure to this desease , please can some one help me , I have picks I can upload or email you to see for yourselves . Please help ,
My email is mathewkoch2012@hotmail.co.uk contact no 07904770552 thank you

Re: Red cheeks , please help me

Hi Matt,

Thanks for posting and sorry to hear about your skin problem. We would recommend that you visit your doctor and ask to be referred to a dermatologist on the NHS. If that's not possible you could always try the private route. I'd be more than happy to send you a list of dermatologists in your local region - I will email you shortly.

In the meantime you might find the answers from our 'ask the expert' clinic on rosacea helpful. The clinic is now closed but you might be able to find something useful in there...

Best of luck,
