Red marks on scalp of head
Hello everybody
I am new to this forum and would like some help i have had some red like marks on the scalp of my head for sometime. Although i am bald i still have hair but choose to shave my hair off.
The red marks have been like this for about 6-7 years now. I have been to the doctors and have been told i have a fungus infection. To which i was given some shampoo which never did anything!
So i then went again to the doctors and was told to use some cream to solve the red marks from showing. Which again never did anything. I am now at that stage i just feel like this is a part of me and i just have to live with it!

Hi Zaheer123,
I can't actually see any photo. However, you might find our skinformation pages useful here
http://www.britishskinfoundation.org.uk ... sease.aspx
DermNetNZ is also a great resource http://www.dermnetnz.org/
It might be worth going back to your doctor and asking to be referred to a dermatologist. If you'd like to see a dermatologist privately and you live in the UK, we can send you a list of dermatologists in your local area. Please write to admin@britishskinfoundation.org.uk and let us know the town you live in.
Hope that helps.
Best wishes,
Lisa
