BCC

Hi Guys, I'm new to this so bear with me. My husband has just been diagnosed with BCC which is on his forehead, I know he will be fine! But I need advise, we are going to Thailand in 10 days for 3 weeks, he wont get his treatment before then, so I'm trying to find out what we need to do to protect the infection whilst we are out there? can you give me some suggestions please, is there something we should you? or should he cover it up?

Thanks in advance

Debbie

Re: BCC

Hi Debbie,
We would strongly advise your husband to keep out of direct sunlight, covering with clothing, a wide brimmed hat and sunglasses. He should stay in the shade and use SPF50+ with 4/5 UVA stars or the UVA logo in a circle on any exposed areas of skin.
He should speak to his dermatologist or GP for further advice.
Best,
Lisa
