skin growth/patch

Hi forum. Just looking for a quick bit of advice.
On my wrist I had a spot which i squeezed a few weeks ago. Some puss came out and it was slowly healing but today I noticed that there is a pinkish patch surrounding where the spot was. Does this look like something that could be of concern?
I do have very fair skin that is quite freckly with numerous moles, and blonde hair. But there was no mole on my wrist here.
