Please help! Unknown skin condition

Hi guys :)
Im writing on behalf of a friend that has been going through an awful time with his skin. It started approximatly 18 months ago and has been getting gradually worse and spreading all over his body.

He has seen his GP who prescribed a variety of steroid creams, lotions and Bath emollients aswell as antibiotics and antihistamines. He has also seen a dermatologist who said it was ecxema and to keep doing what he is doing but it is getting worse.
Unfortunately, due to current circumstances he is only able to access the dermatologist over the phone and the wait time is quite lengthy. Anyone have any ideas what it could be?

Thanks in advance x

Hi Leanne89,

Thank you for posting on the forum about your friend's skin condition.

Unfortunately we are unable to give out specific medical advice but your friend may want to consider contacting one of our clients 'Chuckling Goat'. Chuckling Goat will be able to explain all about how an imbalance in our gut micro-biome can cause symptoms of eczema. If your friend has gone down many avenues but still hasn't been able to help the eczema, then this might be something worth exploring:

Please check them out here:

Kind regards

It seems like it could be an infection skin issue. If its spreads he needs to obtain antibiotics. In the form of tablets or creams, at least that will buy him some time before he can see a specialist. Tell him good luck.
