Skin Concern
Hi all,
Around 3 weeks ago I noticed a small patch on my chest which I thought nothing of. As its been a few weeks and it hasn't subsided I decided to look it to what it might be and I'm slightly worried it could be a superficial basal cell carcinoma. I've sent pictures to my GP as they are not doing face to face consultations at the moment due to covid-19 and neither seemed particularly concerned but I wanted a second opinion.
It's around 1cm in length, itchy on occasions but its flat and painless. The GP suggested a Dermotofibroma but I'm sceptical. A family member has also suggested Discoid Exczma?
I'm 27yr old male so I believe its rare in people of my age, but you can never be too sure.
I've attached a pic, any thoughts welcomed.

Re: Skin Concern
Hi Wozza12345,
Thank you for posting on the forum. We're glad you were able to send pictures to your GP and hopefully they will be able to confirm what the patches are. In the meantime, please find links to skin conditions and discoid eczema where you can compare the pictures:

Kind regards
