Question(s) about mole/skin cancer

I removed a mole myself using apple cider vinegar on a small brown raised mole on my nose. I had that mole ever since I was a child maybe like 5 or 7 years old. I am now 29 years old and I'm worried that I may have made a mistake as I read that even moles from a young age can be skin cancer.

My question(s) is can the cells underneath turn cancerous at any point and I would NEVER know about it until it is too late?

If they were to turn cancerous would there be a sign on the skin above of something new growing?

Or because I already removed the mole myself and have been fine from then until now it is nothing to worry about as It would've already showed signs of cancer by now so it will not do any damage that its now gone.

Thankyou i'm very anxious about all this.
