Help with Rash on head
Hi
Ive had this rash on the back of my head for over 4 weeks. Ive tried daktarin and nizarol shampoo for the last two weeks, but it hasn't cleared.
Does it look like Ringworm?

Re: Help with Rash on head
hiya!
just a quick part from Wikipedia about scalp ringworm, tinea capita: "The clinical presentation is typically single or multiple patches of hair loss, sometimes with a 'black dot' pattern (often with broken-off hairs), that may be accompanied by inflammation, scaling, pustules, and itching. Uncommon in adults, tinea capitis is predominantly seen in pre-pubertal children, more often boys than girls."
off the bat, it doesn't look like scaling, or large pustules, and the hair is intact after four weeks. just my opinion, from a photo. so maybe bit that final infection. but that's a long time to have anything. have you gotten it checked out?

It can require a little while for the rash to disappear. Skin rash medicines include: Sensitivity prescriptions: Oral allergy meds, a kind of sensitivity drug, diminish tingling. Mitigating creams: Hydrocortisone creams like Cortizone® alleviate irritation and tingling.
