Psoriasis
Hi me and my husband have suffered from Psoriasis for years. We have tried lots of different creams and nothing works. We have tried the following aqueous, Dove bet, double base, Ave enough, decloban, e45 and diprobase. Is there any other creams that you could recommend that would work over the counter.

Re: Psoriasis
Dear Amy,
Thanks for your question and sorry to hear you are both suffering. Usually over the counter creams can be helpful at treating dry skin but for active areas of inflamed psoriasis you are likely to need prescription medications also so please make sure you see your GP or dermatologist if necessary. There are a number of good dry skin emollients including epaderm and hydromol cream and ointment in addition to the others you have mentioned including doublebase, diprobase and aveeno.
Skincare is quite personal and you need to try a few products out before finding one that suits you best.
Best wishes,
Anjali
