Re: Fibroids
There are several treatments for fibroids including medical (hormonal or not), radiological (focussed ultrasound or embolization) and surgical (transcervical, keyhole and open surgery) methods.
The recovery for the three operations is 1-2 weeks, 2-4 weeks and 4-6 weeks respectively.

Re: Fibroids
Hello
Treatment very much depends on the size, number and site of the fibroids within the uterus and also whether you've completed your family has an important bearing on treatment as some have a small risk of hysterectomy.
If you'd like to expand I'd be happy to give you more advice

Fibroids can be treated medically or surgically. Recent advances in Medical treatment is a new tablets called Esmya 5 mg is a great treatment that will stop bleeding quickly and reduce fibroid size.
Surgery can be done via a cut or the key hole. Laparoscopic myomectomy in expert hands has a quick recovery in few days.
