Continuous bleeding and heavy clots

Hi. I have just been told by my gynaecologist that the only way now for me to try and stop the bleeding (already tried all other methods of treatment - currently have a Merina coil fitted and taking Provera, but that's not working) is to have a womb eblation and 2 merina coils fitted. I am 41 years of age and always wanted kids, but never been able to get pregnant. Is there anything else I can try before having this operation? Also, I have been reading about the operation and I understand it doesn't always work and can make the bleeding worse - is this true?

Re: Continuous bleeding and heavy clots

Uterine artery embolization is another option. Endometrial ablation does not usually make the problem worse, but it's benefits may only last 18 months sometimes.
