Weetabix Food Company – Change of production site and nut caution
Anaphylaxis Campaign have been notified by Weetabix Food Company that the production of some of their products has been moved to a site that handles nut products, but does not handle milk products. As a result of this change, products which will gain a nut caution, and lose the milk caution are;

Oatiflakes
Oatiflakes with fruit
Weetaflakes

In addition, Branflakes will lose the milk caution, however, it already includes a nut caution.
Weetabix states ‘We do thoroughly clean between production runs, but due to the nature of our processes our risk assessment indicates that these products will no longer be suitable for nut allergy sufferers.’
Production at the new site is planned from late March 2017. As these products have a 12 month shelf life, we urge you to check the packaging carefully as it is possible that packs from both sites will be on shelf at the same time
