Hi
I have the above and since extensive treatment have been left with considerable scarring that gets itchy. What would you recommend to help soothe the areas. I also have fox Fordyce disease in the groin area and again since treatment for my HS it's not as bad but inflammation still causes itching.

HS is a distressing problem and I would recommend the following for your scars:

a) Moisturise with cold cream/ointment/oil (product kept in the fridge)
b) Massage with firm circular movements 3-4 times a day
c) Consider an over the counter anti itch tablet
d) Consider laser, steroid injections/tapes, silicone gel/tapes
