mucosal damage

for prof myers please,
Is it possible after many years to have any reconstruction done on a damaged lip where there is internal scar tissue to the mucosal lining and to re-build the damaged lip where it can be seen a chunk is missing? It would mean a lot if you could answer this please..Thanks

Re: mucosal damage

That may be possible. We have a craniofacial trauma reconstruction clinic at the Royal London every first Thursday of the month which your GP could refer into - the lead for this is Professor Simon Holmes

Thank you very much. I guess this would have to be private as considered cosmetic? my GP does not know about it and it's always be too embarassing to explain.
