Only on one foot?

I only have eczema on my right foot - it flares when I'm stressed and then takes weeks to recover. I've yet to find a cream that can penetrate my foot enough to help it.
Any advice?

Re: Only on one foot?

Many thanks for your query.

Stress-induced eczema is extremely common and I'm sorry to hear you haven't yet found an effective solution.
In addition to using moisturisers and soap substitutes I would advise you see your GP or Dermatologist for a short course of an appropriate strength topical steroid. Some creams combine steroid with salicylic acid which can be helpful for more thickened areas. In more stubborn cases of eczema applying the steroid under occlusion with a dressing or a sock left on overnight can make the treatment more effective. I would advise this approach under the supervision of an experienced GP or your Dermatologist.

Best wishes
