Holiday soon - how can I prevent spread

On behalf of Kelly:
I was diagnosed with vitiligo about 4 months ago. Until now i've not spent much time outside but i have a holiday coming up. Can i spend any time in the sun or will i have to cover up to make sure my vitiligo doesn't spread? If so how much time can i spend in the sun?

Re: Holiday soon - how can I prevent spread

The amount of time depends on many factors including your skin type and how intense the sun is. The most important point however is not to allow your skin, particularly the parts that have lost colour to burn (go red and peel)
