Diprobase

I am prescribed Diprobase for dermatitis but have also been told it should be used in place of soap for washing but wish to know how effective it is for this purpose and also if it is effective as a moisturizer
to combat ageing and lines etc.,

Emollients like this can be used as soap substitutes and are probably less drying to the skin than soap or shower gels. A good moisturiser is essential to maintain skin health- it will keep skin hydrated and help maintain the barrier function.
