Random itching

I experience random itching mainly on my upper body and scalp. It is worse in the evening and when I have retired to bed. It usually responds to a rub or a light scratch. Any ideas?

Re: Random itching

Hi sorry there isn't enough information there to advise

Possibilities include urticaria which sounds the most likely, eczema, notalgia paraesthetica amongst others. If you look these up on dermnz or webmd and see if any of these fit otherwise your GP is the next port of call
