Jessner's Disease

On behalf of a member:
what has worked for anyone else? I am at the end of all the options offered by dermatologist, GP, nurses ...
It is a drive me mad condition with no apparent solution.
Many thanks,
Teri

Re: Jessner's Disease

Hi unfortunately there might not be a solution

The following (taken from dermnz) have been tried

Topical and intralesional corticosteroids
Antimalarial medications, such as hydroxychloroquine
UVA1 phototherapy or photochemotherapy (PUVA)
Photodynamic therapy
Cyclophosphamide
Thalidomide
Radiotherapy
All patients should be advised to follow sun protection measures, regardless of their history of photo-aggravation.
