Emotional wellbeing and skin conditions

There are now some really good resources to support people living with skin conditions available and many people will feel that such a development is long overdue. The British Association of Dermatologists in collaboration with a range of experts has developed skinsupport.org.uk which provides a good range of information and access to some free self-help materials. Also some specialist NHS wellbeing services have recently been set up specifically to help people living with a range of long term conditions. For example, in Sheffield we are just launching a new IAPT/Health and Wellbeing service for people living with skin conditions. If you live in this area and want to find out more you can contact your GP or Dermatologist.
