Long term use of Buprenorphine patch

Anyone else on the Buprenorphine Patches? I was on 15mg ,4 patches a month. But I have noticed I have horrible side effects. The patch no longer offers any pain relief as I have been on them a few years!. So ,with the help of the doctor, I am gradually lessening the dose. Now 3 months in,I am on 5mg.
I am having bad headaches and feel fatigued. But at least I don't have the terrible itchiness and fogginess I used to have.Just not sure I am ready to come off altogether. Any lessons learnt or experience with this medication appreciated.
