Prostate check ups
Are regular prostate check ups offered by GPs for adult males of any age? Or is it aimed at adult males who are said to be at greater risk of developing prostate related diseases/cancer?
Little information has been given by my local GP and as a sensitive subject my partner finds it a little awkward to inquire about it out of the blue.

Re: Prostate check ups
There is no UK prostate cancer screening programme
GPs generally won't go looking for prostate issues
This is a good guide: https://www.gov.uk/government/publicati ... -and-risks
and sets out the issue with pros and cons of testing
