Are further investigations needed?

My partner has a lump in one of his testicles it has been there for years he has been to the gp about it on numerous occasions and they have said it's just and cyst no further investigations have been done even though his dad only has one testicle due to something similar, should he be concerned and and asking for scans etc or because it doesn't hurt or interfere with everyday life should he just ignore it?
Thank you, Elizabeth

Re: Are further investigations needed?

almost certainly a cyst
an ultrasound would confirm though
if there years, very low risk
