Red Faced!

Postby Bessie03 on Thu Jan 18, 2018 1:06 pm

Hi, I blush really easily, but lately when ever someone talks to me i.e. when I'm out shopping, I feel my face heating up and I seem to go bright red. How can I control this? I would say I am a shy person, even as a child but mow I am 40. Please advise

Hi, this could be a form of rosacea. Do you also have sensitive skin and some red spots? If so, see your GP. If not, some people just have very reactive blood vessels in the skin. If emotion makes it worse, sometimes we use beta blocker tablets, so chat to your GP. Laser can also sometimes be helpful - depending on your own issues PDL or IPL can be used.
