Hard water

What is the best way to care for my skin when the area I live in has hard water?

Re: Hard water

Hi there,
Hard water has been linked to eczema. However, the relationship is complex and using a water softener doesn't seem to improve the eczema per se.

You don't mention whether you have any skin conditions. One danger in hard water areas is that you have to use more wash product to get a lather and this can dry out the skin. To avoid this, use non-foaming , non soap products to wash with and ensure you use plenty of moisturiser.

Best wishes.
