Dry skin on stomach

I get dry itchy skin on my stomach around and below the waist and wonder if its due to me having gone through the menopause or my medication and what is the best way to relieve it?
I am taking Omeprazole, Candesartan, Atorvastatin and Dispersible aspirin. I also take a cod liver oil one a day capsule.

Re: Dry skin on stomach

Given that it's so localised, I think it's unlikely to be a medicine-related rash.

This area always makes me think of allergies to Nickel from jeans or belt buckles. Could this be relevant?

in the first instance, use a regular unfragranced medical moisturiser - emollient. Avoid harsh soaps and shower gels. if this doesn't help, see your doctor.

Best wishes.

Re: Dry skin on stomach

I do have a nickel allergy but usually just effects were the button of the jeans is but maybe your right it has maybe spread as I wear jeans almost every day. I just try to cover the button over with the bit of material from the denim.
Thanks for the advice
