Do I Still Moisturise When I Have Spots on My Face?
I have rosacea and after many years I have developed a routine using prescription creams that keep my problems mostly at bay. I know I can't use foundation, ever, but I do use ( after sampling hundreds) a moisturiser that I find doesn't irritate my skin ordinarily and helps with dryness. My question is should I stop moisturising when spots and pimples appear or will moisturising help to avoid those nasty hard , flaky areas of skin that I get around the spot when they start to subside? I seesaw back and forward between moisturising or giving my skin a break. I need expert advice!

HI, It sounds like you would benefit from seeing your doctor to get some medicated cream for your rosacea. In terms of skin care, if the skin is dry and sensitive, yes, still moisturise. use a non-comedogenic, unfragranced moisturiser.
