I am unsure whether i have full on rosacea but suffer the cold terribly and have a red/purple nose and red cheeks, forehead most of the time. How should i proceed as i don't want to waste GP time but it makes me very depressed?

Thank you for your question. I am so sorry to hear about your problem. It sounds like a rosacea. Rosacea is a common medical condition and treatments are available. For red face rosacea there is a medical gel Mirvaso. You may want to ask your GP if he/she can prescribe it or can refer her to a dermatologist if there are restriction on prescription of Mirvaso by GP locally.
